About the role

The Service Associate – Waiter will deliver memorable dining experiences for guests at Shangri‑La Jeddah’s food and beverage outlets. You will embody the brand’s standards, ensuring every interaction reflects the luxury and hospitality the hotel is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant before service, setting tables and ensuring a clean environment.
• Provide knowledgeable menu guidance, suggest dishes, and take orders with a friendly attitude.
• Coordinate seamlessly with the culinary team to guarantee timely delivery of meals.
• Handle billing accurately and process payments according to hotel procedures.
• Follow all Shangri‑La food safety processes and support colleagues to maintain smooth operations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a waiter in a 5‑star hotel or comparable luxury setting.
• Excellent conversational skills and strong command of English.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for creating wow moments for guests.

Required skills

• Understanding of menu composition and dish preparation.
• Ability to suggest menu items and answer guest queries.
• Proficiency in handling billing and payment procedures.
