Service Center Technician – Saudi National

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Service Center Technician (Saudi National) to join its service team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing heat exchangers, centrifuges and related equipment, while ensuring high quality and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Apply expert knowledge of repair processes, products and applications.
• Monitor team performance and waste elimination during shifts.
• Act as a liaison between the service team, support functions and the team manager.
• Develop and improve key processes and tools for the service centre.
• Close competence gaps through training, coaching and SOP audit dialogues.
• Control quality, manage deviations and coordinate service execution stops with the manager.
• Provide immediate problem‑solving support to team members when required.
• Participate in knowledge‑sharing and problem‑solving with other Alfa Laval service organisations.
• Optionally coordinate, plan and support daily shift activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience with plate and welded heat‑exchanger reconditioning and maintenance (preferred).
• Experience in decanter centrifuge maintenance (preferred).
• Proficiency in TIG welding (preferred).
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to work under pressure.
