Service Technician – Field Service for Fitness Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to deliver on‑site installation, maintenance and repair of advanced fitness equipment for a global consumer‑technology brand. The role involves travelling to customer locations, diagnosing technical issues and ensuring a high level of satisfaction through professional after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Execute service jobs following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair fitness equipment on‑site.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Manage parts inventory and complete accurate work orders and service reports.
• Educate customers on proper equipment use and care.
• Communicate estimated arrival times, set expectations and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Provide structured technical feedback to internal teams and ensure accurate service data reporting.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a service engineering or field technician role.
• Diploma or degree in Electronics & Communications or a related discipline.
• Strong mechanical and electronic engineering capabilities.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Experience using mobile tools and service applications; basic IT networking knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent organisational, reporting and customer‑facing communication skills.
