Site Mechanical Manager

About the role

The Site Mechanical Manager will lead mechanical construction activities for a large‑scale solar PV project in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to senior project leadership, the role oversees ramming/piling, tracker and module installation, as well as cleaning robot operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities for ramming/piling, trackers, modules, and cleaning robots.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team including assistant construction managers, engineers, supervisors, in‑house workers and subcontractors.
• Maintain project schedules, KPIs and productivity targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and QA/QC procedures.
• Conduct rate analysis, costing, cost control and materials reconciliation.
• Mobilize resources according to project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the project company and vendors for material delivery.
• Administer site resources and ensure technical compliance with international solar PV codes.

Required profile

• Graduate in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years on solar PV projects of 200 MW or larger.
• Proven experience managing large construction teams on complex sites.
• Overseas project experience is desirable.
