Sleep Medicine Senior Registrar

About the role

My Clinic, a leading multispecialty outpatient provider in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Sleep Medicine Senior Registrar to join its team. Reporting to the Internal Medicine Chairman/Medical Director, the role involves delivering high‑quality sleep medicine care and contributing to the clinic’s growth and research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care and management for patients within the sleep medicine service, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and extend consultation services to other departments as needed.
• Educate, supervise, and mentor general physicians, residents, and junior consultants.
• Develop and implement subspecialty clinical programs and participate in departmental quality‑assurance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with MOH, CBAHI, and international standards of care.
• Participate in medical staff committees, research activities, and educational program development.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognized university with a valid SCFHS license in the specialty and sub‑specialty.
• At least 7 years of post‑MD experience, including a minimum of 3 years after eligibility/certification in the subspecialty.
• Current BCLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Completed formal residency program with additional subspecialty training in sleep medicine.

Required skills

• Valid SCFHS license in sleep medicine specialty.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
