Software Quality Assurance Tester

About the role

Rime is looking for a Systems Quality Engineer (SRE) to ensure the stability, speed, and reliability of its real‑time video and sensor data platform. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and DevOps, keeping servers and services running with minimal downtime while supporting rapid scaling for new client branches.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the software infrastructure to handle high‑throughput video and IoT streams, targeting 99.9% uptime.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated, error‑free releases.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or Datadog.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term fixes.
• Optimize cloud resource usage, cost, and load‑balancing across servers.
• Apply security best practices, including encryption, IAM, and compliance controls.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform or Ansible).
• Proficient in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Good understanding of network protocols and video streaming workflows (RTSP, WebRTC) as well as IoT data streams.
• Advanced knowledge of modern monitoring, alerting, and log analysis stacks.
• Solid grasp of cloud security, data encryption, and IAM.
