Staff Nurse – Home Care

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Home Care Services delivers professional nursing care to patients of all ages in their own homes, ensuring safety, comfort, and high‑quality care. Working within CMC’s standards and Saudi health regulations, the nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient‑centered services in a home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments during home visits.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in partnership with patients, families, and the home‑care team.
• Administer medications, treatments, wound care, injections, and IV therapy according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, record vital signs, and promptly report any changes in condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all nursing activities in patient records.
• Ensure infection‑control and safety standards are upheld during each visit.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Respond to patient emergencies and provide immediate care when needed.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication use, nutrition, and preventive health practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure from the nursing governing body of the country of origin.
• Professional Nursing License from the Saudi Council for Health Specialties.
• Valid BCLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or SHA.
• Minimum required work experience as specified by the employer.
