Strategic Finance Manager

About the role

OpenOpen.cx is scaling its AI‑native customer support platform and needs a Strategic Finance Manager to build a robust financial foundation. You will transform ad‑hoc spreadsheets into a single source of truth for revenue, cash, burn, runway and unit economics, supporting the leadership team and future investors.

Key responsibilities

• Map current money flows across all GTM and customer‑facing teams.
• Establish weekly metrics reporting and a monthly board pack.
• Clean up the chart of accounts and compress month‑end close to ≤5 business days.
• Design and maintain a weekly forecast model and choose the finance tech stack.
• Lead Series A financial modeling, data‑room preparation and investor diligence.
• Implement multi‑entity consolidation for EU/US subsidiaries and ensure ASC 606 compliance.
• Partner with the CEO on geographic expansion, M&A signals and pricing strategy.
• Prepare the organization for Series B audit, tax and treasury processes.

Required profile

• Player‑coach mindset: hands‑on with spreadsheets and comfortable presenting to senior investors.
• First‑principles thinker who can simplify chaotic, disconnected systems.
• Willingness to stay in the role for at least 12 months while building the finance function.

Required skills

• Experience with finance platforms such as NetSuite or QuickBooks Online.
• Familiarity with payment and subscription tools like Stripe and Maxio.
• Knowledge of corporate card and expense solutions (Brex, Ramp, Pleo).
• Proficiency in planning and analytics tools (Pigment, Cube, Mosaic).
• Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
