Strategy and PMO Director

About the role

The Strategy and PMO Director will lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives while overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO). This senior leadership position combines strategic thinking, project governance, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the strategic planning framework, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market dynamics.
• Lead the PMO, establishing governance, standards, and processes to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Facilitate quarterly strategic review sessions with senior leadership to assess progress, adjust priorities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with business units to translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans and operational improvements.
• Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for strategic initiatives.
• Manage budgets, financial risks, and ROI analysis for high‑impact projects.
• Champion change‑management initiatives, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic management, program management, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading strategic planning processes and delivering high‑impact projects.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget development, risk assessment, and ROI evaluation.
• Expertise in change‑management principles and large‑scale transformation.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and data‑driven decision‑making.
• High emotional intelligence and excellent stakeholder‑management skills.
