Structural Engineer – Residential & Mixed‑Use Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to provide expert structural engineering support for residential, mixed‑use and master‑planned development projects. The role involves design review, site verification, regulatory compliance and close coordination with internal teams and external consultants to deliver safe and cost‑effective structural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review structural design submissions for compliance with codes, standards and project requirements.
• Analyse site reports, RFIs, NCRs and technical queries, offering safe and cost‑effective solutions.
• Provide technical recommendations for strengthening, modifications or rectifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, infrastructure and MEP teams to resolve design clashes.
• Conduct technical site visits to verify construction aligns with approved designs.
• Support site supervision teams in addressing structural issues during construction.
• Prepare clear technical review reports summarising findings, risks and recommendations.
• Maintain documentation and record control in line with PMO standards.
• Assist in preparing tender specifications, design criteria and employer requirements for new projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in real‑estate development or a similar environment.
• Experience with residential, mixed‑use or master‑planned developments.
• Strong background in structural design review and coordination.
• Experience managing consultants and contractors within the GCC market.
• Professional certifications such as Chartered Engineer or PMP are an advantage.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is preferred.
