Structural Engineer – Various Levels

About the role

Robert Bird Group is seeking experienced structural engineering professionals to join its Saudi Arabia pipeline. The positions span Principal, Senior, and Design Structural Engineer levels and will support high‑rise, mixed‑use and complex building projects aligned with Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to structural design delivery for high‑profile building projects.
• Perform analysis, calculations and technical reviews from concept through detailed design.
• Coordinate with architects, multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure integrated solutions.
• Drive innovation and digital delivery using advanced design software.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in building structural design (high‑rise, commercial, mixed‑use or complex structures).
• Experience working in the Middle East, preferably Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of international design codes (Eurocodes, ACI, BS).
• For senior roles: demonstrated leadership, client‑facing and stakeholder management experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 and Revit.
• Ability to develop structural models, calculations and design documentation.
• Familiarity with international design standards (Eurocodes, ACI, BS).
