Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to manage end‑to‑end procurement and logistics processes for our operations in Jeddah. The role involves creating purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders, and ensuring smooth customs clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers on status, delays and confirmations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange shipments and review shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Track shipments, monitor ETAs, handle transshipments and resolve any delays.
• Compare freight quotes and select cost‑effective options.
• Assign and verify HS codes for imported items to avoid customs penalties and duty errors.
• Ensure required product and shipment certificates (PCoC, SCoC) are obtained and coordinate SABER approval.
• Liaise with customs brokers to guarantee accurate documentation and timely clearance.
• Resolve issues such as HS‑code disputes, missing documents, or inspection holds.
• Track shipments to final delivery and coordinate cleared goods to warehouses or project sites.
• Provide internal teams with regular shipment status updates aligned with project timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, import/export, or logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian customs regulations, SFDA and SABER requirements.
• Strong attention to detail for document verification and classification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal stakeholders.
