Supply Chain Specialist – Material & Vehicle Planning

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist to join our Material & Vehicle Planning team within the Supply Chain function. You will support the Demand‑Supply‑Reconciliation (DSR) process using SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and help create a consensus plan that balances sales, capacity, and freight constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and maintain planning inputs in SAP IBP, including sales orders, capacity, material availability and premium freight data.
• Ensure data completeness, quality and timely availability for scenario generation.
• Run what‑if scenarios in IBP using defined models, policies and constraints.
• Analyse simulation results for service level, feasibility, inventory impact and freight exposure.
• Compare alternatives, identify constraint hits and recommend the most practical scenario for business review.
• Coordinate cross‑functional scenario reviews, capture feedback and iterate until agreement is reached.
• Maintain version control, traceability and documentation of all scenario decisions.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in DSR (S&OP), supply planning or production planning.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP IBP and strong analytical/data‑engineering capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Additional certifications such as SAP IBP, SAP APO, APICS CPIM or CSCP are a plus.
