Sustainability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sustainability Engineer to lead ESG and compliance initiatives across our manufacturing sites in Saudi Arabia. The role will integrate sustainability into daily operations, ensuring adherence to local regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage sustainability and ESG programs for manufacturing facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian environmental, labour and HSE regulations.
• Conduct environmental, social and health & safety audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain and audit ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 26000 management systems.
• Monitor supplier sustainability performance against the Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Coordinate customer sustainability audits and ESG due‑diligence activities.
• Support ESG reporting, data analysis and documentation to keep audit‑ready records.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and quality teams to embed sustainability practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in sustainability, ESG or EHS within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in solar manufacturing or Middle‑East projects is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian and regional regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
