Instrumentation & Control Engineer – Detailed Engineering & Execution

About the role

PerlePerle is seeking a seasoned Instrumentation & Control Engineer to lead detailed engineering and execution for Oil & Gas projects in the GCC region. The role combines technical depth with project leadership, ensuring safe and compliant control system delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review instrumentation specifications, I/O lists, hook‑up drawings, and control philosophies.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, SIL, and functional safety standards.
• Oversee contractor I&C engineers during detailed engineering phases.
• Support DCS, PLC, and SIS implementation and site integration.
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and cause‑and‑effect reviews.

Required profile

• 10+ years of Instrumentation & Control experience.
• Hands‑on experience with DCS and SIS systems.
• Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas experience in the GCC.
• US, UK or Australian citizenship; relocation can be accommodated.
