Tactical Investment Professional

About the role

PIF is looking for a Tactical Investment Professional to join its International Investments team. The role focuses on direct investments across a range of high‑growth sectors, providing insight, transaction leadership, and portfolio oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, select and manage international direct investments in line with PIF’s investment policy.
• Lead transaction processes, including financial modelling, valuation, advisor coordination, term negotiation and closing documentation.
• Prepare investment memos, recommendations, internal updates and board committee reports.
• Engage in portfolio management, reviewing strategic matters, business plans and board nominations.
• Drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives at portfolio companies.
• Monitor investment performance, recommend corrective actions and stay abreast of market trends.
• Support exit processes, including recommendation preparation and execution.
• Build and maintain networks with industry experts, institutional investors, investment banks and advisors.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in international direct investments.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and transaction workstreams.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing memos, presentations and stakeholder updates.
• Proactive approach to market research and industry monitoring.
• Capability to mentor junior team members.
