About the role

The Technology Design & Architecture Senior Expert will lead the design and architecture of mission‑critical and business‑critical solutions, ensuring they meet national communication standards and align with the overall strategy of stc Group. This senior position translates business needs into robust technical designs, drives governance, and supports innovation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of mission‑critical and business‑critical technology design solutions.
• Apply and enforce architecture governance frameworks and standards.
• Develop and continuously update end‑to‑end technology architectures in coordination with Corporate IT Services.
• Ensure designs align with stc Group standards for integration, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to technology strategy by analyzing market trends and providing input for future architecture direction.
• Define and maintain network architecture standards focusing on security, resilience, and scalability.
• Lead design activities across networks, platforms, and applications to meet service requirements.
• Support innovation and R&D initiatives, evaluating emerging technologies.
• Translate business and service requirements into detailed technical specifications, SLAs, and architecture documentation.
• Review design outputs, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in technology design, architecture, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Preferred education: Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
