Technology Strategy & Innovation Director

About the role

The Technology Strategy & Innovation Director will define, govern and drive the execution of the organization’s technology strategic objectives, portfolio and project management practices. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures alignment between business priorities, investment decisions and execution outcomes, fostering innovation and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and execute the strategic technology plan, translating objectives into actionable initiatives and measurable outcomes.
• Establish and maintain strategic governance frameworks to monitor execution, benefits realization and risk mitigation.
• Lead the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO), defining standards, methodologies and governance for projects, programs and portfolios.
• Oversee enterprise portfolio planning, prioritization, investment governance and performance monitoring.
• Drive innovation enablement and architecture governance, supporting digital transformation and modernization.
• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business value.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience in technology strategy, portfolio management or PMO leadership.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, governance frameworks and enterprise architecture.
• Strong background in driving innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align technology initiatives with business goals.
