ULD & Projects Officer

About the role

The ULD & Projects Officer ensures the smooth movement and availability of Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and related equipment across all stations, supporting timely cargo operations. Working closely with station teams, the role coordinates allocation, tracking and return of ULDs to minimise delays and optimise resource use.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate ULDs and equipment based on flight schedules, cargo volumes and seasonal trends.
• Track the movement of ULDs between stations, ensuring they are available when needed.
• Guarantee timely delivery of ULDs and equipment to airports before cargo flights commence.
• Maintain accurate records of ULD allocation, transfers and returns, updating the system regularly.
• Monitor borrowed equipment, manage related invoices and payments.
• Enter and keep up-to-date all equipment information in the logistics system.
• Assist stations in resolving equipment-related issues and coordinate special requirements with other teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Aviation Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, cargo handling or a similar environment.
• Strong analytical ability to forecast demand and optimise resource allocation.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
