Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. You will manage a team, drive inventory accuracy, uphold safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, and handling of raw materials according to company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and maintain accurate records.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to provide a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams for timely material availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to optimise space utilisation.
• Prepare and analyse reports on inventory, stock movements, and operational performance.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
• Train and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and compliance.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of warehousing experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in inventory management and resource planning.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of team development.
• High level of computer literacy, including MS Office applications.
• Good communication skills in English and knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
