About the role
Careers International is recruiting a Winder Operator in Riyadh for a full-time position in production and manufacturing. The operator processes jumbo rolls from the machine into the required sizes specified in the job order given by the PM operator, without producing any quality defects.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the winder operations and run the machine at maximum output
- Observe the roll condition and inform the dry end operator or shift leader of any defects
- Control physical defects such as creases, trim overflow and piping, ensure correct size and reel diameter according to the job order sheet and good intelligence, and meet reel hardness standards set by QC
- Insert cores and tap reels
- Coordinate with maintenance on any issues
- Run the winder at design speed and produce rolls according to SAP-generated roll cards
Required profile
- High school or industrial school education
- 3 to 5 years of experience in tissue mills
- Basic level English
