Workflow & IT Specialist – Healthcare (Jazan)

About the role

This position sits at the intersection of laboratory operations, informatics and automation, helping healthcare providers in Jazan improve workflow efficiency, data integration and overall lab performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a workflow and informatics subject‑matter expert, linking operational needs with platform capabilities (analytics, pre‑/post‑analytics, sample and data flow).
• Partner with customers to map current‑state workflows, identify constraints and design future‑state models using Lean and workflow engineering methods.
• Lead lab assessment activities, including workflow mapping, volume analysis, bottleneck identification and Lean Six Sigma‑based redesign.
• Produce consulting outputs such as value‑stream maps, spaghetti diagrams, layout proposals and turnaround‑time simulations.
• Create and deliver proposals, presentations and visualisations (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD) to support sales and delivery for medium to large healthcare providers.
• Maintain a best‑practice library for automation/IT, including rules libraries and automation metrics.
• Provide product demonstrations, end‑user training and workshops.
• Support sales and service teams in project planning, risk management and execution to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Required profile

• Strong familiarity with healthcare integration standards such as ASTM and HL7.
• Deep understanding of clinical laboratory environments, workflows and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, consult and drive practical solutions in a technical context.
• Excellent communication skills for translating requirements between technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience in facilitating workshops, presentations and customer‑facing consulting engagements.
