About the role
The Workshop Quality Inspector will ensure that all components produced for the Ministry of Defense meet strict engineering specifications. Working in a high‑precision environment, you will use calibrated tools to verify dimensions, manage defects, and maintain accurate documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Measure and evaluate parts against engineering blueprints using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges.
- Regularly test and calibrate workshop measuring instruments, log results and arrange third‑party recalibration when required.
- Tag and isolate rejected components, summarize rework and waste, and inform the workshop foreman of recurring faults.
- Complete inspection reports, check‑sheets and logs, ensuring engineering drawings are correctly red‑lined and updated.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant inspection or quality control experience.
- Experience in training institutes, overseas companies, chemical industries, motor workshops or similar environments.
Required skills
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Defect tagging, isolation and rework reporting.
- Preparation of inspection reports and drawing red‑lining.
What we offer
- Monthly salary between 95,000 and 100,000 BDT.
