Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function, ensuring that financial information is accurate, timely and compliant with standards. The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations and providing strategic financial insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Contribute accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
• Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
• Monitor revenue and expenses, coordinate collection and consolidation of financial data, and prepare special reports.
• Research and interpret accounting policy, applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Establish internal controls to maintain financial security.
• Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing an accounting team and daily accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Ability to prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Excellent analytical skills for monitoring revenue, expenses, and preparing special reports.
