Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS. This position reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, managing staff, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Manage and develop accounting staff through hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (master’s preferred) and at least 10 years of accounting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
