AI Accounting Manager

About the role

Rewaa is building an AI‑driven bookkeeping platform for SMEs in Saudi Arabia. As the AI Accounting Manager you will lead the end‑to‑end operation that reviews AI‑generated accounting entries, ensures data quality and drives continuous product improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the review standard and exception process for AI‑generated accounting entries.
• Lead the improvement loop by labeling corrections and feeding them back to Product and Engineering.
• Own the accounting logic in the product, ensuring compliance with Saudi accounting standards and ZATCA requirements.
• Design and implement operating models, SOPs, checklists and escalation paths across Riyadh, Cairo and Jordan.
• Oversee merchant onboarding together with Sales and Customer Success.
• Build and scale the accounting team, including hiring, performance management and incentive frameworks.
• Identify manual review tasks and automate them to increase coverage.
• Produce dashboards on accuracy, throughput, exception rates and automation gains for leadership.

Required profile

• 3+ years leading an accounting or bookkeeping operation in a high‑volume environment (outsourced accounting, shared services, fintech or accounting‑software).
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of Saudi VAT, ZATCA e‑invoicing and local accounting practices.
• Experience managing a distributed team across countries.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with a degree in Accounting or Finance.

Required skills

• SQL (basic querying for data analysis).
• Proficiency with AI tools and data‑driven dashboards.
