AI & Data Management Director

About the role

The AI & Data Management Director will lead AI and data advisory engagements for government, Public Investment Fund (PIF) and other public‑sector clients in Saudi Arabia. The role combines deep technical expertise in AI/ML with consulting, business development and pre‑sales capabilities to drive strategic initiatives and deliver value‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AI and data advisory projects, conduct maturity assessments, feasibility studies and roadmap development for public‑sector entities.
• Identify and cultivate new AI and data opportunities within provincial and central government, PIF and related organisations.
• Prepare tender proposals, evaluate and select AI and data management platforms, and design solution architectures that meet client and procurement requirements.
• Design cloud hosting solutions for AI workloads and collaborate with sales and technical teams to tailor offerings.
• Oversee delivery of AI/ML and data solutions, ensuring compliance, privacy, scalability and guiding data‑science and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience in AI, machine learning and data platforms.
• Proven track record in stakeholder engagement, pre‑sales, proposal development and client delivery within the public sector.
• Strong consulting and business development skills, with the ability to translate technical possibilities into actionable public‑sector strategies.
