Airport Structural Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Structural Design Engineer with extensive experience in large‑scale airport and infrastructure projects. The role involves leading structural design reviews, ensuring compliance with international standards, and providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee structural design review and coordination for airport infrastructure projects under a PMC framework.
• Review and validate structural and bridge design calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Conduct structural analysis and design assessments for reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, structural steel, masonry, and other systems.
• Utilize STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, and IDEA StatiCa to evaluate structural integrity and constructability.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (civil, roadway, geotechnical, architectural, MEP) to integrate structural design.
• Review bridge construction methodologies, shop drawings, material submittals, and cost estimates.
• Support feasibility studies, value engineering, risk assessments, and constructability reviews.
• Monitor contractor and consultant performance and ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on large‑scale roadway and airport projects.
• Proven responsibility for bridge and structural engineering on complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
