Architect / Senior Project Manager – Hospitality Fit‑Out

About the role

Chestertons Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Architect / Senior Project Manager to lead hospitality fit‑out and construction projects in Riyadh. You will report to the Project Director and support the site team from mobilisation through final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate site execution activities among contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and client representatives.
• Monitor construction progress, site activities and project milestones against the approved programme.
• Review architectural, interior design, MEP and shop drawings to ensure design intent aligns with site implementation.
• Manage technical changes, RFIs, site instructions and construction‑related design updates.
• Identify clashes, technical inconsistencies and constructability issues during execution.
• Oversee material approvals, mock‑ups, technical submittals and supplier deliverables.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, snagging inspections and coordination meetings.
• Support procurement tracking, long‑lead items, supplier schedules and delivery coordination.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, meeting minutes, action trackers and technical coordination documentation.
• Coordinate authority permits, inspections and compliance activities, and assist with project close‑out, testing & commissioning, handover documentation and defect management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–15 years of experience in project management, fit‑out delivery or construction management.
• Proven experience delivering hospitality, hotel, resort, F&B or high‑end mixed‑use fit‑out projects.
• Strong background in hospitality fit‑out and construction execution.
