Architectural Design Engineer

About the role

Qantara is seeking an Architectural Design Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team in Riyadh. You will be responsible for turning project concepts into detailed architectural solutions that meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed design solutions for a variety of projects.
• Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using industry‑standard software.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Review project requirements, client needs, and site conditions to produce effective design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and client presentations.
• Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, design reports, and technical documentation.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications.
• Support project managers in achieving quality, budget, and schedule objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant architectural or engineering experience.
• Professional engineering certification is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills.
