Area Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Area Manager will oversee administration, compliance and operational excellence across multiple retail stores in Jeddah. You will work closely with store managers, the regional office and IT teams to ensure processes are efficient, policies are followed and systems run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor administration office activity in all locations and enforce company policies and SOPs.
• Train store teams on operating systems, investigate till discrepancies and support stock‑take procedures.
• Develop, review and amend store procedures, SOPs and internal audit corrective actions.
• Maintain and enhance system processes, collaborate with the Retail IT Manager and optimise SAP ECC.
• Serve as first‑line contact for store and system‑related issues.
• Support new store openings, arrange IT requirements and train new joiners.
• Review consumables budgeting, archiving practices and health‑safety standards.
• Assist with ARIBA purchasing requirements to achieve cost‑savings.

Required profile

• Degree advantageous; 5‑8 years experience in finance or administrative roles, preferably store‑based.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical and influencing abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and computer skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP ECC and related store operating systems.
• Experience using ARIBA procurement platform.
