About the role

The Area Sales Supervisor leads a team of sales staff across multiple locations, ensuring that sales targets are met and operational standards are upheld. This role combines people management, operational oversight, and strategic planning to drive business performance in the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Train, coach, and support sales staff to achieve performance standards.
• Monitor staff performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage work schedules, assist with workforce planning, and oversee daily operations across the area.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Develop and implement efficiency and productivity improvement strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and ensure adequate stock.
• Analyze budgets, financial statements, and sales data to recommend adjustments.
• Promote collaboration across teams and departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of frontline supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, coaching, and feedback skills.
• Ability to motivate, develop, and guide employees toward shared goals.
• Proven decision‑making, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capacity to interpret performance data and drive strategic actions.
