Assistant Boat Captain – Dive Center Operations

About the role

The Assistant Boat Captain supports the safe and efficient operation of dive centre vessels at Red Sea Sports & Entertainment. Working closely with the Boat Captain, you will help ensure vessels are ready, compliant and provide an excellent experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Boat Captain with navigation, mooring, anchoring and docking of dive vessels.
• Prepare vessels daily, checking safety equipment, cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Handle dive‑related logistics such as cylinder handling, equipment loading/unloading and guest embarkation/disembarkation.
• Maintain vessel logs, checklists and operational records.
• Conduct routine safety checks and report any deficiencies.
• Support basic troubleshooting of outboard engines and other marine assets.

Required profile

• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a marine environment.
• Good physical fitness for handling equipment and vessel tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and crew.
• Willingness to learn local navigation routes and dive sites.
