Assistant Designer – Creative Collections

About the role

The Assistant Designer will support senior designers in creating artwork for new ceramic collections, focusing on colour combinations, design elements and production alignment. You will also own a small collection, conduct trend research and ensure designs meet quality standards and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in creating and preparing artwork for new collections.
• Develop and own your own collection, defining colour palettes and design elements.
• Modify artwork based on feedback from the PDR team, laboratory and customers.
• Align digital designs with production requirements, ensuring correct colour profiles and textures.
• Submit weekly progress reports and track performance against targets.
• Collaborate with production, development and other cross‑functional teams to meet technical specifications.
• Research current design trends, customer preferences and market demands.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Design.
• 2–4 years of relevant design experience.
• Strong analytical thinking, creativity and initiative.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
