Assistant Head Nurse – Full Time

About the role

The Assistant Head Nurse supports the Head Nurse in managing both human and material resources of the dialysis clinic. This role ensures proactive, safe, and high‑quality patient‑centered care while fostering staff growth and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel and advise staff, reporting personnel issues to the Head Nurse.
• Assist in staff scheduling to maintain quality care standards and optimal coverage.
• Communicate policy and procedure updates to the team.
• Promote open, participative communication and a flexible work environment.
• Support new employee orientation, probation evaluations, and ongoing staff development.
• Monitor clinic safety, cleanliness, security, and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare monthly reports on clinic goals, achievements, and challenges.
• Implement risk‑management policies and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to the development and application of clinic‑specific quality assurance standards.

Required profile

• Registered nursing qualification with experience in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage staff and coordinate schedules.
• Strong understanding of safety, risk management, and equipment maintenance in a healthcare environment.
• Effective communication skills to convey policies and foster teamwork.
