About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering a seamless customer experience and smooth daily operations. This role steps in to lead the store when the manager is absent, ensuring sales targets are met and staff are motivated.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales performance by implementing promotional offers and monitoring key performance indicators.
• Oversee store administration, conduct regular audits, and apply procedural updates.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product availability through inventory control and regular stock checks.
• Manage staff schedules, address employee concerns, provide performance feedback, and enforce company dress code.
• Ensure security procedures are followed, safeguarding stock and cash.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to set sales goals, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies.
