BIM/GIS Manager

About the role

The BIM/GIS Manager will lead the implementation, management and integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) during the construction supervision phase of major building and hospitality projects. The role ensures digital project delivery, model coordination, information management and compliance with BIM and GIS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) aligned with client requirements and project objectives.
• Monitor contractor and consultant compliance with BIM standards, protocols and information delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary model review sessions and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP and infrastructure models.
• Establish and apply model quality control procedures to maintain data accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and update GIS databases, integrating survey, utility and stakeholder data into project GIS platforms.
• Provide GIS‑based analysis, mapping and reporting to support site supervision and asset management.
• Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), overseeing document and model control processes.
• Conduct digital reviews to identify clashes, constructability issues and model discrepancies.
• Perform regular audits of BIM models and GIS databases to ensure compliance with specifications, contractual obligations and industry standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, surveyors and project teams on BIM and GIS matters, facilitating coordination meetings and technical workshops.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading BIM and GIS implementation on construction or hospitality projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols and information management workflows.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
