Business Development Specialist

About the role

ENIGMA GENOMICS is seeking a full‑time Business Development Specialist to work remotely and drive growth in the genomics and precision‑medicine market. You will identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities while building lasting relationships with clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to uncover trends, opportunities, and competitive insights in genomics and healthcare.
• Generate, qualify, and manage leads, maintaining accurate pipeline data in CRM tools.
• Present ENIGMA GENOMICS solutions to prospective and existing clients through virtual meetings and events.
• Collaborate with internal scientific, operations, and marketing teams to tailor proposals and presentations.
• Maintain detailed records of outreach activities and support strategic growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and market‑research capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex genomic solutions.
• Proven lead‑generation experience in biotech, healthcare, or life‑science sectors.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on professional, solution‑oriented interactions.
• Experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within genomics or related fields.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
