Cap Ex Engineering Project Manager

About the role

The client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Cap Ex Engineering Project Manager to lead capital‑expenditure projects at its manufacturing site. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and local government requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and control capital projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to client processes and timelines.
• Coordinate and manage design, engineering and construction subcontractors.
• Develop and enforce safety procedures, including accident reporting, risk assessments and method statements.
• Track project performance, budgets and schedules, and report progress to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure all deliverables meet GMP and GxP standards for pharmaceutical facilities.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• Significant experience managing capital projects in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of GMP facility design, GxP process equipment and utilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
