About the role

The Cashier Specialist ensures smooth and accurate financial transactions while delivering exceptional customer service in a beauty‑focused retail environment. You will be the front‑line representative, handling payments, assisting shoppers, and maintaining a welcoming checkout area.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Handle cash, credit cards and other payment methods with precision.
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized and well‑stocked.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and courteously.
• Follow company policies on cash handling and customer service.
• Support and coordinate cash‑desk staff, stepping in during busy periods or challenging situations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a cashier or similar retail role.
• Strong mathematical ability and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay composed in a fast‑paced, stressful environment.
• Passion for the beauty industry; knowledge of beauty products is a plus.

Required skills

• Operation of electronic cash registers and POS systems.
