CCTV Controller – Security & Loss Prevention

About the role

The CCTV Controller ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and property assets by monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Respond to accidents, emergencies, guest or employee disturbances, and coordinate with EMS or external assistance as needed.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, lock entrances when required, and escort unwelcome persons while maintaining orderly operations.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and loss‑prevention documentation while preserving confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties to support security investigations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior experience or supervisory experience required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted (75 lb with assistance).
• Ability to read small print, work in confined or elevated spaces, and follow company policies and confidentiality standards.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring and operation.
• Alarm system (perimeter, duress, fire) operation.
• First aid and CPR proficiency.
• Incident reporting using computer systems.
• Basic investigation and evidence‑gathering techniques.
