Chief of Project – Real Estate Development

About the role

We are seeking an executive leader to own end‑to‑end delivery of a flagship master‑planned mixed‑use residential community in Saudi Arabia. The Chief of Project Development will be fully accountable for P&L, infrastructure, construction, marketing, sales, cash‑flow and final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the master budget, profitability and cash‑flow schedules, and develop the operational roadmap for infrastructure, villas, townhouses, apartments and civic facilities.
• Direct main contractors, engineering consultants and the PMO, ensuring compliance with QA/QC, HSE and building codes while driving BIM, MMC and PropTech adoption.
• Lead marketing teams to create the project’s brand identity, monitor market trends and set pricing, and forge partnerships with sales agencies and financial institutions.
• Oversee multi‑channel sales execution, manage sales centre operations, and ensure a seamless customer journey from reservation to handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or related field; MBA or PMP/PgMP highly desirable.
• 15‑20 years of real‑estate development experience, including at least 7 years in an executive leadership role on large‑scale master‑planned communities.
• Proven track record of leading successful real‑estate marketing campaigns and high‑volume residential sales.
• Deep expertise in managing complex construction contracts (FIDIC) and coordinating multi‑tier contractors and suppliers.
