Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead and manage the Company’s operations, turning strategic directions into measurable execution plans. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO ensures operational efficiency, cross‑functional integration, and the achievement of financial and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the Company’s institutional and operational readiness, including governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and organizational structures.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all departments and business units, monitoring performance and driving productivity improvements.
• Ensure compliance with licences, statutory, legal and regulatory obligations, maintaining continuous adherence.
• Develop and refine operating models, enhance institutional efficiency, and strengthen governance and execution discipline.
• Manage operational risks, ensure business continuity, and guarantee the quality of deliverables.
• Support the CEO in monitoring priorities, initiatives, and executive decisions that impact performance and growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of senior executive leadership experience, preferably in large‑scale operational roles.
• Proven track record of building governance frameworks, policies and operational structures.
• Strong experience in overseeing compliance, regulatory and legal requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and achieve financial targets.
