Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

EMAR Saudi for Energy Works is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead and support civil construction and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing site activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and approved schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Oversee quantity surveying, material verification, and site inspections.
• Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and monitor project progress.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and support project documentation and close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and structural engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC and construction safety standards.
• Preferred registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and experience in contracting or construction projects.
