Civil Engineer – Water Utilities & Industrial Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to lead and supervise civil and structural works for water utilities and industrial infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing the construction of chambers, foundations, buildings, underground services and pipeline routes, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review civil and structural drawings, method statements and material submissions.
• Supervise excavation, concrete works, foundations, chambers and underground installations.
• Inspect contractor activities and verify compliance with approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve site and interface issues.
• Prepare daily reports, inspection records, snag lists and hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure, utilities, water projects or industrial construction.
• Practical, safety‑conscious and well‑organized.
• Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and operational stakeholders.
• Relevant engineering registration or health‑and‑safety certification preferred.
