CNC Technician

About the role

The CNC Technician will set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce high‑precision components for oilfield drilling and completion tools. You will ensure that all parts meet strict specifications, quality standards, and delivery deadlines while collaborating with engineers and workshop supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and grinders to manufacture oilfield components.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM models.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust parameters to maintain tolerances and surface finishes.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments to verify quality compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues on CNC equipment.
• Document production data and machine logs accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow safety protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma in CNC machining or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machine operation experience, preferably in oilfield drilling or completion tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Ability to perform technical troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
