Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure full compliance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards across all manufacturing, machining, inspection and testing activities. The role oversees product integrity from raw material receipt through final certification and drives continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and represent the company in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to API, ARAMCO and other international standards.
• Lead, train and mentor the QA team and document controllers, promoting QMS awareness across the organization.
• Maintain licenses, certifications and regulatory compliance for all products and processes.
• Plan and execute internal/external audits, inspections and process validations.
• Analyze quality metrics, identify trends, report performance and manage corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee supplier qualification, performance monitoring and supplier audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy or a related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in quality assurance within the oil‑and‑gas or metals manufacturing sector.
• Mandatory Lead Auditor qualification; preferred API Q1/Q2, NDT Level II (UT/MPI/LPI) and Six Sigma certifications.
