Commercial Transactional Lawyer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Transactional Lawyer to join our global team on a remote basis, supporting business operations from Saudi Arabia. The role involves providing strategic legal advice for complex commercial activities, drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, and ensuring compliance with Australian law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as supplier contracts, service agreements, licensing, distribution, partnership, NDAs and joint venture documents.
• Provide strategic guidance on commercial risks, contractual obligations and regulatory compliance under Australian legislation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align agreements with business objectives and operational goals.
• Support corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations through legal due diligence and documentation.
• Analyse business strategies from a legal perspective and deliver practical recommendations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of commercial legislation, regulations and contract law developments.
• Independently manage legal matters while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and alignment with organisational priorities.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non‑legal stakeholders.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent law degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, corporate law or a related legal field.
• Strong knowledge of Australian contract law, commercial regulations and business practices.
• Proven ability to draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide variety of commercial agreements.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with international teams.
