Communications Manager

About the role

The Communications Manager will lead client accounts and execute PR and communication strategies for luxury brands in the GCC. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager and Directors, the role involves crafting compelling stories, managing media relations, and supporting crisis communications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic communication plans aligned with client objectives.
• Manage client calls, strategy meetings, and ensure clear alignment of deliverables.
• Identify media opportunities, create storytelling angles, and secure high‑value coverage.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, Q&A documents, speeches, presentations, and other collateral.
• Produce monthly coverage reports and analyse media performance.
• Plan and execute events, activations, and press engagements.
• Provide guidance during crisis situations and develop response strategies.
• Maintain and grow relationships with media, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
• Support new business development through pitching and agency growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5‑6 years of PR/Marketing experience, preferably with agency exposure.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
• Extensive press and social contacts within the GCC.
• Deep understanding of the luxury sector and market dynamics.
• Proven track record in client and media relations, crisis management, and media strategy development.
• Flexible, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
