Compressor Commissioning and Controls Engineer

About the role

The role is a field‑service position responsible for commissioning, start‑up and control of turbo‑compressor packages and related auxiliary equipment for Siemens Energy and partner OEMs worldwide. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and the company, ensuring installations meet OEM specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning of compressors, control systems and auxiliary equipment on site.
• Interpret P&ID, electrical and control documentation to verify correct installation.
• Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and provide detailed technical reports to clients.
• Maintain a Zero‑harm safety culture and enforce EHS policies.
• Work day or night shifts under challenging conditions, including weekends and holidays.
• Engage professionally with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify further service opportunities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 5‑7 years of experience commissioning turbo‑compressor packages.
• Proven ability to manage control‑system troubleshooting and start‑up activities.
• Willingness to work onsite in harsh environments and on rotating shifts.
